I was born and raised in Shanghai, China. I completed my undergraduate study at the University of California, San Diego. My PhD research in the Fejes Tóth Lab is on the interaction between human transposable elements and their host. I am a huge artistic gymnastics fan and watch gymnastics in my spare time.
